Evan Sohn, Chief Executive Officer & Founder
Evan is a serial entrepreneur who has held senior executive roles in a number of startup organizations spanning a variety of technology sectors, including: security, business intelligence, customer relationship management (CRM), wireless, mobile computing and instant messaging. Most recently, Evan was the Chief Marketing Officer of Omnipod, a managed service provider of secure enterprise instant messaging. Omnipod was acquired by MessageLabs, Inc. in November of 2005. Prior to joining Omnipod, Evan was the Vice President of Marketing for ReefEdge, Inc., a leading developer of security and management solutions for enterprise wireless networks. He joined ReefEdge shortly after its initial funding, guiding the company’s early growth and in the process helping to create the Wireless LAN Security and Management Sector. Prior to ReefEdge, Evan was Vice President of Business Development for Strategic Technologies, following Strategic’s acquisition of Logix Inc., a provider of mobile-based solutions in handheld technology which Evan founded in 1989. Logix pioneered the use of handheld technologies in the CRM, medical information, wireless and education sectors. Additional innovations created by Logix were brought to the market through two other startup companies: Brainchild (educational software) and Informedix (disease management).
Sohn holds eight patents in telecommunications, mobile education, medical instrumentation and medical data capture. He holds a degree from NYU’s Stern School of Business in Computer Information Systems and in Management.
Sohn is on the executive board of the Ira Sohn Research Conference Foundation, dedicated to treatment of pediatric cancer and other childhood diseases. This esteemed organization, established in honor of Sohn’s brother, Ira, has as its centerpiece an annual New York conference that has raised more than $20 million for pediatric oncology services.
Mason Levey, Vice President
Mason attended the University of Michigan and graduated from Bizdom U. Bizdom U is a comprehensive two-year entrepreneurship program founded by Dan Gilbert owner of Quicken Loans and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Mason spent 2.5 years studying under Dan Gilbert learning the fundamentals of how to build late stage growth equity companies. Mason has experience from founding two technology companies; Bablur, a mobile advertising firm and Paymio, a transactional collections company. He has also founded Technow09 a Michigan based technology conference. Mason is helping Salesconx transform into the market leader for On Demand Sales. His operational roles include helping to drive finance, marketing, and business development.
